HVAC Journeyman

We take pride in every project we build for our clients and accept nothing short of top quality and value. TATRO is looking for skilled and experienced HVAC Journeymen to join our team.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Promote safety as the core value at TATRO. Responsible for assembling, installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating units used in homes, schools, commercial and industrial buildings. Locating and marking position of pipe and/or duct connections and passage holes for same in walls and floors and then cutting openings to accommodate pipe and/or duct fittings, using hand tools and power tools. Responsible for end-to-end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects. Delegate work and run a crew. Provide guidance and direction to apprentices/helpers. Ensure client satisfaction and quality consistent with TATRO standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment. Basic knowledge of construction. Basic mathematical problem solving. Plumbing knowledge is a plus but not necessary. Basic computer/tablet skills, including Microsoft Office products and email services. Journeyman's License is required. Valid Driver's License. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. Must be willing to travel when needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Occasional lifting up to 50lbs Ability to twist, bend, squat, kneel, climb, and stand for long periods as required.
