Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and indoor air quality equipment. Perform service calls in a timely and professional manner. Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options. Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Educate homeowners on system operation, maintenance best practices, and energy-saving opportunities. Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly and professionally with customers. Accurately document service calls, repairs, and recommended solutions. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a safe and organized manner. Adhere to all company safety policies and industry standards. Participate in company meetings, manufacturer training, and ongoing professional development. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Manual dexterity and physical stamina required to safely perform HVAC service and repair tasks. Qualifications HVAC degree, certification, or equivalent field experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC service experience preferred. Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. EPA Certification preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate HVAC tools, testing equipment, and service instruments.
