Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed HVAC Journeyman/Master technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Install, service, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems. Interpret schematics, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults in electrical systems and components. Conduct maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards. Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to perform repairs and installations with precision. Diagnose complex problems involving HVAC systems and implement effective solutions promptly. Maintain detailed service records, complete reports on work performed, and communicate clearly with customers regarding system status and recommendations. Skills Extensive construction experience with HVAC system installation and property maintenance projects. Proven service technician experience with a strong background in HVAC system repair and maintenance. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, HVAC design plans, and building automation controls. Mechanical knowledge covering plumbing, electrical systems, boilers, appliances repair, and refrigeration technologies. Skilled in using hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic devices for troubleshooting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Knowledge of electrical diagnostics related to HVAC equipment repairs; familiarity with mechanical systems repair is essential. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety protocols. This company is a full service plumbing and HVAC company.
