Schedule:
Monday-Friday, beginning at 7:00 a.m. Daily end times vary based on workload. Occasional Saturdays and overtime are required as needed. Qualified applicants with an HVAC certificate or license are encouraged to apply for our technician training pathway. What You'll Do Service, install, and repair fireplaces, chimneys, hearth appliances, and related accessories. Troubleshoot equipment and operating problems , applying your mechanical knowledge and developing specialized hearth-industry skills. Explain findings and recommend solutions to homeowners, including in-home, solution-based sales of appropriate services and products. Complete required study assignments, classroom instruction, and hands-on field training while demonstrating your ability to apply what you learn. Progress toward independently operating a company service and installation truck , delivering professional workmanship and customer service. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least one year of hearth-industry or HVAC service/installation experience . A current CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep, CCP Certified Chimney Professional, NFI Gas or Wood Specialist, or FIRE certification . Applicants with an HVAC certificate or license are also eligible to apply and train for this position. A current driver's license. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Willingness to meet training deadlines and work the required schedule, including occasional Saturdays and overtime. Experience troubleshooting gas control valves and related components is a strong advantage. Previous in-home service, installation, and solution-based sales experience is also valuable. Training requires consistent effort and accountability. Study materials must be completed within established deadlines, and advancement depends on successfully completing required certifications and demonstrating mastery of the necessary skills. Unless already held, the following certifications are expected within 120 days of hire: CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep. Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician (CDET). Motivated applicants with relevant experience may progress quickly as they demonstrate technical competence, sound judgment, and the ability to serve customers independently.
