BME is seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to join our growing team. This role is vital to supporting our expanding customer base by delivering exceptional service, technical precision, and dependable performance. You'll diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems while building lasting relationships with our customers through excellent communication and workmanship.

Main Duties:
Install commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, DX equipment, fan systems, and refrigeration units. Installing, piping, brazing, duct work, and change outs. Track and document work performed, including obtaining purchase orders and completing service reports. Travel to customer locations to provide on-site service and repairs. Read prints and schematics on new installations. Work alongside other trades on commercial job sites.
Secondary Duties:
Train apprentices and junior installers.
Requirements:
Ability to carry and climb a ladder up to 28'. Ability to sit and stand for long periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Valid Driver's License. EPA license. OSHA 10 certification (preferred). 5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Excellent communication skills. Experience with mechanical systems, including chillers, DX equipment, boilers, refrigeration, and basic controls.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with chillers. Control/BAS experience.
Salary Range:
$25/h - $40/h
