Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting on HVAC systems, including refrigeration units, boilers, air conditioning units, and building automation systems. Install, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment using hand tools, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and schematics to ensure precise operations. Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to optimize efficiency and prevent future breakdowns. Diagnose electrical issues within HVAC/R systems and implement effective repairs while adhering to safety standards such as EPA regulations. Collaborate with clients to assess their property maintenance needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance system performance. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex equipment problems involving ammonia refrigeration or electrical systems. Maintain detailed service reports, logs of repairs performed, and documentation of system conditions for ongoing maintenance planning. Qualifications Proven experience as a Commercial HVAC service technician. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and plumbing components. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and building automation system diagrams. Skilled in electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters and troubleshooting electrical systems within HVAC/R equipment. Familiarity with HVAC design principles, equipment installation procedures, and maintenance practices. Valid EPA certification for handling refrigerants; additional certifications in ammonia refrigeration or boiler operation are a plus. VRF, Boiler, Chiller experience. Valid HVAC Journeyman License Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
