About the Opportunity Mr. C Refrigeration is looking for experienced commercial HVAC and refrigeration professionals to join our Louisville team. We have opportunities for candidates with backgrounds in commercial HVAC service, commercial refrigeration, supermarket and rack refrigeration, and refrigeration installation. Work may include:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and emergency service Work on commercial HVAC systems, walk-in and reach-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, condensing units, compressors, evaporators, and rack refrigeration systems Install commercial refrigeration equipment and complete equipment change-outs, retrofits, and system upgrades Run refrigeration piping, including suction, liquid, and discharge lines Braze, solder, pressure test, and prepare refrigeration piping for operation Install walk-in cooler and freezer panels, pipe supports, hangers, and insulation Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigeration system issues Read and interpret refrigeration drawings, blueprints, and specifications Test completed repairs and installations to confirm safe and proper operation Clearly communicate findings, repair needs, and recommendations Complete service and project documentation accurately and promptly Follow company procedures, OSHA requirements, and applicable safety standards Participate in an on-call rotation when required What We're Looking For Previous commercial HVAC, commercial refrigeration, rack refrigeration, or refrigeration installation experience Current EPA Certification Must live within 25 miles of Louisville, Kentucky Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Strong mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, motivated, and committed to quality workmanship Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to safely use tools, ladders, and equipment required for the position Experience with brazing, piping, pressure testing, or reading blueprints is preferred for installation opportunities Technical school HVAC/R training or equivalent field experience is preferred Physical Requirements This is a hands-on field position requiring the ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, push, and pull; lift or move up to 50 pounds; work from ladders or elevated areas; handle tools, equipment, piping, and refrigeration components; and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
