Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various maintenance disciplines, including HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical repairs. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, providing timely service and maintenance to uphold safety and efficiency standards. Must have Certification EPA Card. Can Make up to 1200.00 a week with 20 Plus years experience. 1099 Independent contractor position Must have your own tools Valid driver's license & transportation is required for travel between job sites. Must be able to Work in the Shreveport & Bossier city areas. Email resume to gpsrestoration@yahoo.com Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct preventive maintenance checks on air conditioning systems, boilers, and other essential equipment. Execute field service tasks including appliance repair and property maintenance as needed. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of supplies. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in welding tasks and other construction-related duties as required. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems. Proficiency in plumbing, refrigeration, and appliance repair. Experience as a service technician or in field service roles. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Previous experience in property maintenance or construction is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
