This is for commercial work helping service commercial HVAC units. These positions are temp-to-permanent for the right candidate. The work schedule is for day shifts Monday through Friday. Pay is $30 - $35/hr. depending on experience. Weekly pay by direct deposit
Job Duties:
Install all types of HVAC equipment, piping, control wiring, thermostats, motors, and control boards. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of HVAC equipment. Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using soldering, brazing, or welding equipment. Braze or Solder copper tubing or components together Establish and maintain clear communications with customers while both on and off the customer job sites. Review blueprints, submittals, building codes, or specifications to determine work details or procedures. Adhere to safety procedures Move or fit heavy objects Assist in maintaining inventory and tool procurement of individual service vehicle. Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to required angle, using hand or power tools. Cut, bend, or thread pipe for gas, air, or water lines Understand construction specifications Direct helpers engaged in pipe cutting, preassembly, or installation of HVAC systems or components. Understanding of drain and lineset connection requirements Assemble and install pipe sections, fittings, and HVAC equipment Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand Pressure test piping system or equipment for leaks Perform safety inspections in construction or resource extraction setting Maintain or repair work tools or equipment Use hand or power tools Use pressure gauges Use oral or written communication techniques Determine installation, service, or repair needed
Job Requirements:
Ability to install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot equipment 2 - 4 years of HVAC Service Technician experience preferred Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job Ability to work independently without much supervision Should have some basic hand tools and all PPE. Will need to be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, which include bending, lifting heavy equipment, and working in confined spaces Job requires that you have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation Ability to effectively manage time If you meet the above requirements and are available and interested, please respond to this job ad with your resume.
