Ready to take the lead? Carl F. Riedell & Son is looking for an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to join our growing team. We're looking for someone who knows HVAC installation, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable taking ownership of a job from start to finish. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be installing equipment, working alongside a helper, keeping the job moving, and sharing your knowledge with less-experienced team members. As an HVAC Lead Installer, you'll be responsible for leading residential and light commercial installations and making sure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to Riedell's standards. You'll be responsible for: Leading HVAC installations from start to finish. Installing heat pumps, ductless systems, furnaces, air handlers, and other HVAC equipment. Working alongside an installation helper and providing hands-on guidance and training when needed. Teaching and sharing your knowledge with less-experienced team members. Delegating tasks, keeping the installation moving, and making sure the work is completed properly. Making sure installations meet applicable codes and manufacturer specifications. Performing system start-ups, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Communicating professionally with customers and members of the Riedell team. Keeping job sites, tools, equipment, and company vehicles clean and organized. Identifying potential issues early and communicating them with the appropriate team members. Taking ownership of the finished installation and making sure the job reflects Riedell's standards for quality and workmanship. The ideal candidate will have:

3+ years of HVAC installation experience. Strong residential HVAC installation experience. Experience with heat pumps, ductless systems, furnaces, air handlers, and related equipment. A solid understanding of HVAC installation practices and procedures. Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment specifications. Strong communication and leadership skills. A willingness to teach, guide, and develop less-experienced team members. Ability to work independently while also being part of a team. Valid Massachusetts driver's license and clean driving record. EPA certification preferred. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Pride in workmanship and attention to detail. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in attics, crawlspaces, basements, and varying weather conditions. About Carl F.
