HVAC Technician East Boston, MA (Logan International Airport) Job Overview G1 Facility Services is a leading facility maintenance and construction provider, proudly serving customers nationwide across industries such as Aviation, Food Services, and Hospitality. We're looking for a skilled commercial HVAC Technician to join our team in East Boston, MA. Schedule 6:00 am - 2: 30 pm or 10:00 am - 6:30 pm Scope of Work You'll install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems in East Boston-area facilities, following company standards and manufacturer specifications.

Medical, vision, and dental insurance Life insurance 401(k) Paid PTO Company-provided tools and equipment Company vehicle provided during working hours, as needed What You'll Do Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, AHUs, mini-splits, FCUs, and vertical/horizontal steam heating units. Evacuate refrigerant, make repairs, charge systems with nitrogen, test for leaks, and recharge systems per manufacturer specifications. Service high- and low-pressure steam heating supply, including repairs to steam traps, blow-off valves, heat exchangers, and related components. Follow manufacturer preventive maintenance (PM) procedures, report issues promptly, and complete daily work logs through the CMMS. Troubleshoot system issues using manufacturer guides, technical resources, and hands-on experience to reach a timely resolution. Evaluate the condition of existing HVAC systems, document findings, and recommend repairs or upgrades as needed. Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling, recovery, and disposal of refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations. Work closely with teammates and other departments to keep projects on schedule and on budget. What We're Looking For 3+ years of hands-on experience as a commercial HVAC Technician. Current EPA Universal Certification. OSHA 10 Certification (if you don't already hold this, G1 will assist will obtaining). Familiarity with RTUs, AHUs, mini-split systems, FCUs, and vertical/horizontal steam heating units. Experience with high- and low-pressure steam heating supply and related repairs (steam traps, blow-off valves, heat exchangers). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to follow manufacturer PM procedures and maintain accurate CMMS records. Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to use manufacturer resources, technical references, and prior experience to solve problems efficiently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid U.S. driver's license (final approval is subject to our auto insurance carrier's criteria). Nice to Have Additional certifications in specific HVAC systems or technologies (e.g., NATE certification). Experience working with CMMS platforms and digital work order systems. Background evaluating aging HVAC infrastructure and recommending capital improvements. Physical Demands & Work Environmen t Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally. Comfortable climbing ladders, working at heights, and accessing tight spaces like crawl spaces and mechanical rooms. Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures, including occasional extremes. Ready to Apply?
