Full-Time, Direct Hire No Residential Service Calls | Stable First-Shift Schedule We are hiring an experienced HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts. This is a hands-on, primarily in-house position troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and electro-mechanical equipment. It is an excellent opportunity for an HVAC technician who enjoys solving complex mechanical and electrical problems but wants a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. Candidates with commercial HVAC service experience are encouraged to apply. Experience with commercial refrigeration, electrical controls, automated equipment, or environmental test chambers is especially valuable. What You'll Do Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Identify mechanical, electrical, and control-system problems. Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, calibration, and equipment testing. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and control-panel drawings. Use multimeters, gauges, and other diagnostic tools to identify equipment failures. Repair or replace components such as compressors, motors, controls, relays, contactors, sensors, coils, and electrical components. Assemble, disassemble, level, test, and repair mechanical equipment. Complete warranty troubleshooting and repairs when needed. Document completed work and communicate findings clearly. Work with engineering, manufacturing, and service team members to improve equipment reliability. Follow all company and customer safety requirements. What We're Looking For At least two years of hands-on HVAC service, maintenance, or repair experience. Commercial or industrial HVAC experience. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Experience using standard HVAC and electrical diagnostic equipment. Ability to diagnose problems independently and complete repairs safely. Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Preferred, but Not Required Commercial refrigeration experience. Experience with automated industrial equipment or environmental test chambers. Experience troubleshooting electrical controls, sensors, PLC-controlled equipment, or building automation systems. EPA Section 608 Certification. NATE Certification. Massachusetts refrigeration, HVAC, or journeyman credentials. Candidates do not need to meet every preferred qualification to be considered. Why Join Us? Monday-Friday first-shift schedule.
