About ACG ACG Air Compressor is an Atlas Copco authorized distributor and service house based in Lowell, MA. We sell, install, and service industrial compressed air systems including compressors, dryers, filtration, piping, and everything in between, for customers throughout New England. We are a hands-on, field-focused team that takes pride in doing the job right. The Role We are looking for an experienced Air Compressor Service Technician to join our team. Candidates with direct compressed air experience in rotary screw compressors, dryers, filtration, or compressed air piping are strongly preferred. That said, we will consider a highly skilled mechanic, HVAC technician, or industrial maintenance tech with the right foundation and the drive to learn. You will be in the field every day, installing new equipment, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing problems, and keeping our customers running. What You'll Do Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on rotary screw air compressors, dryers, and filtration systems Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults Install new compressed air systems including rigging, piping, and mechanical and electrical connections Conduct compressed air system audits and leak surveys Represent ACG professionally at customer sites throughout New England Preferred Qualifications Experience servicing rotary screw air compressors, dryers, or compressed air systems Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, Kaeser, Sullair, or similar brand experience a strong plus Hands-on mechanical background in HVAC, industrial maintenance, diesel, or similar considered Basic electrical knowledge including multimeter use, reading schematics, and motor troubleshooting Valid driver's license with clean record What We Offer Competitive pay commensurate with experience Company service vehicle Factory training and ongoing technical development Paid time off Stable, growing company with long-term career potential Work on industry-leading equipment with a team that knows the trade Experienced candidates will be given priority.
