Senior Residential HVAC Technician

About the Role As a Residential HVAC Field Technician, you will serve as a key technical expert responsible for the diagnostic accuracy and operational efficiency of home climate control systems. You will play a vital role in ensuring homeowner comfort by delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance while fostering long-term trust through transparent communication and expert guidance. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on residential furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini-splits, and standard air conditioning units. Execute preventative maintenance routines to extend equipment lifespan and optimize system performance for homeowners. Educate clients on system health and provide clear, non-pressured options for necessary repairs or upgrades. Maintain a high standard of workmanship to ensure safety, reliability, and peak efficiency in every installation or service call. Document service activities accurately and manage inventory of parts and tools within your company-provided vehicle. Collaborate with leadership to refine service processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of our technical standards. Qualifications Required Skills 5+ years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service or installation. Current EPA 608 certification. Proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical HVAC components. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong commitment to customer service and professional integrity. Preferred Skills Proven expertise in both service diagnostics and system installation. Experience with high-efficiency boiler and heat pump technologies. Demonstrated interest in mentorship or leadership development within a growing trade organization.
