HVAC/R Apprentice Technician

POSITION TITLE

HVAC/R Apprentice Technician

SUMMARY OF ROLE

To service and maintain all properties owned and maintained by Big Y Foods. Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Work with energy management systems and control energy costs. Cooperate with other Facilities Management technicians to coordinate, discuss and assist them in projects requiring specific skills.

ESSENTIIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring schematics Administrative paperwork Understanding of HVAC systems Understanding of refrigeration systems Work order system utilization Understanding of electrical components Safety practices and used of personal protective equipment

$28.50 - $42.75 per hour
