Skilled HVAC Sheetmetal Mechanic | Journeyman-Level Expertise (2-5 Years) Our team is looking for talented HVAC Sheetmetal Mechanics . We specialize in intricate commercial assignments that require meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering dedication to high-quality craftsmanship.
Key Duties:
Analyze and translate mechanical blueprints, shop schematics, and project requirements with high accuracy. Construct and mount various ductwork configurations, such as rectangular, round, and spiral systems, along with the necessary supports and fittings to ensure structural integrity. Perform expert-level installation and configuration of VAV boxes to guarantee optimal system performance. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by following all OSHA guidelines and keeping the workspace tidy.
Necessary Qualifications:
Possess between 2 and 5 years of professional journeyman experience within the commercial HVAC or sheet metal installation sector. Demonstrate mastery in using power tools and precision measuring equipment, as well as the ability to interpret complex technical diagrams. Maintain the physical capability to handle weights exceeding 50 pounds, remain on your feet for long shifts, and operate safely from ladders, lifts, or scaffolding.
