About the Role As a Building Systems HVAC Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and operational efficiency of our facilities. You will be responsible for the proactive maintenance, diagnostic repair, and optimization of complex climate control systems, ensuring that all equipment functions at peak performance to support a seamless environment. Responsibilities Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including air handling units, VAV boxes, and mechanical equipment, while accurately documenting all actions in a CMMS. Diagnose and resolve issues with electronic and pneumatic environmental controls, boilers, pumps, and compressors to minimize system downtime. Perform installations and repairs on motors, fans, and mechanical components to ensure the longevity and reliability of facility infrastructure. Monitor and inspect environmental control systems using advanced testing techniques to identify potential failures before they impact operations. Coordinate with and escort subcontractors to ensure all site work adheres to safety standards and project requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, strictly following OSHA and internal safety protocols. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to build collective expertise across various maintenance disciplines. Required Skills High School Diploma or

GED. 1-3

years of experience in commercial or residential HVAC maintenance. Valid Driver's License and EPA 608 Certification. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical as-built drawings. Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance. Competency in Microsoft Office for reporting and communication. Preferred Skills Professional HVAC trade certification. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize work orders in a fast-paced environment.
