HVAC Field Supervisor Journeyman or Master

SuperTech HVAC is looking for a proven HVAC Field Supervisor who can independently diagnose, repair, lead, and train others in the field. This is not an entry-level supervisor role. We are looking for a highly skilled HVAC professional with strong residential HVAC experience, and/or RTU experience, and the ability to coach and develop newer technicians and installers. For the right candidate, we are prepared to offer $100,000+ base salary or $50+/hour, based on experience, technical ability, leadership ability, and overall fit. What You'll Do As an HVAC Field Supervisor, you will help lead and support our service and installation teams in the field. Your job is to make sure work is done correctly, customers are taken care of, and technicians continue to improve.

Responsibilities include:

Independently diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems Troubleshoot and repair light commercial equipment, including RTUs Support technicians and installers on difficult service calls and job sites Train new and developing technicians on proper diagnostics, repairs, installations, safety, and customer communication Verify that installations and repairs meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and code requirements Help reduce callbacks through proper field support, quality control, and technician coaching Teach technicians how to properly diagnose problems instead of guessing or replacing unnecessary parts Assist with scheduling, labor planning, inventory, materials, and job readiness Communicate professionally with customers, technicians, installers, and office staff Jump in to run calls, troubleshoot, or assist with installations when needed What We Are Looking For We are looking for a proven HVAC professional who can perform at a high level without constant technical support. You may be a strong fit if you: Are the go-to technician for difficult diagnostics and repairs Can diagnose problems correctly and explain the solution clearly Have strong residential HVAC service and installation knowledge Have experience troubleshooting and repairing RTUs Can train newer technicians and help them improve Take pride in doing the job right the first time Can earn respect through knowledge, attitude, and work ethic Communicate well with both customers and field teams Care about safety, quality, and customer satisfaction Want to lead while still staying involved in the field Requirements Qualified candidates should have: Journeyman or Master HVAC License Strong residential HVAC service experience Residential installation knowledge RTU troubleshooting and repair experience Proven ability to independently diagnose and repair HVAC systems Ability to train, coach, and support newer technicians Strong understanding of airflow, refrigeration, electrical troubleshooting, controls, gas furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning systems, and ducted systems EPA certification Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Professional appearance and communication skills Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Field Assessment Required Because this is a senior-level, high-paying position, selected candidates will complete a field-based technical assessment as part of the hiring process. The assessment is designed to verify real-world HVAC skill level, including diagnostic ability, repair ability, safety practices, communication, and the ability to support other technicians in the field.
