About the Position Advanced HVAC & Plumbing is looking for an experienced, dependable HVAC professional to join our growing team. We are not necessarily looking for someone who fits into only one category. You do not have to be strictly a service technician or strictly an installer. We are looking for a well-rounded individual with HVAC experience, strong mechanical ability, and a willingness to continue learning. The right candidate may have experience in service, installation, maintenance, system replacements, ductwork, boilers, heat pumps, controls, or a combination of these areas. We are willing to provide additional training to help the right person strengthen the areas where they may have less experience. Responsibilities Depending on your experience and abilities, responsibilities may include: Diagnosing and repairing residential and light commercial HVAC systems Performing HVAC maintenance and system inspections Assisting with or leading equipment replacements and new installations Installing and servicing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, ductless systems, and related equipment Completing basic electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and control-system diagnostics Installing or modifying ductwork, piping, venting, drains, and accessories Communicating findings and recommendations clearly with customers Accurately documenting work performed Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work area Working with other technicians, installers, managers, and office staff to complete jobs correctly and efficiently Qualifications Previous HVAC or related mechanical experience is required Experience may be in service, installation, maintenance, construction, or a combination of areas Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Willingness to learn new equipment, technologies, and procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional attitude and good communication skills Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to safely lift equipment, use ladders, work in crawlspaces and attics, and perform the physical duties of the position EPA certification is preferred but not required for the right candidate Plumbing, electrical, hydronic, boiler, or sheet-metal experience is a plus What We Are Looking For Our ideal candidate: Takes pride in completing quality work Is dependable and arrives ready to work Treats customers, coworkers, and their property with respect Understands that doing the job correctly is more important than rushing Can identify problems and think through practical solutions Is open to training and constructive feedback Wants a long-term position with opportunities to grow You do not need to know everything on your first day. We provide residential and light commercial HVAC and plumbing services, including service, maintenance, replacement, and installation work. We are looking for someone who wants to become a valued, long-term member of our team not simply fill a temporary position.
Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
