Job Description Mid Atlantic Isolation (MAI) is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. This position is responsible for reviewing project plans and specifications, preparing accurate estimates, and assisting with quotes for commercial and industrial projects. Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Prepare accurate material and labor estimates
• Perform material takeoffs and determine project requirements
• Prepare and submit customer quotes
• Review bid requirements and project scope
• Communicate with customers, contractors, vendors, and suppliers regarding pricing and project requirements
• Obtain vendor and supplier pricing as needed
• Track open quotes and assist with follow-up
• Maintain organized estimating and project records
• Assist with other project-related duties as needed Qualifications
• Previous estimating, construction, mechanical, HVAC, or related industry experience is preferred
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with computers, email, spreadsheets, and estimating documents
• Ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Benefits
