Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Technician, where your expertise will drive the maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and plumbing systems. Duties Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and related mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install new HVAC equipment, including ductwork, thermostats, and control systems, adhering to design specifications. Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing fixtures, and other mechanical components. Conduct inspections of property systems to identify issues early and implement effective repairs or upgrades. Use tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuits and mechanical failures. Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs performed, and system performance data. Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools and equipment to job sites as a driver. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in HVAC/R systems. Knowledge of construction principles related to building systems installation and maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans for accurate troubleshooting and installation. Hands-on experience with plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boiler operation, and appliance repair. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, motors, valves, and controls. Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams; proficiency with ohmmeters for circuit testing is essential. Skilled in equipment repair techniques including welding and mechanical adjustments. Field service experience working on property maintenance projects across commercial or residential settings. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating HVAC/R equipment in various environments is preferred. Certifications in HVAC/R technology are highly desirable; additional skills in welding or boiler operation are a plus.
