Responsibilities Lead residential and light commercial HVAC-R installation, service, repair, and maintenance projects Install, service, maintain, and repair heat pump and mini-split systems Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC-R system issues and identify effective solutions Repair or replace defective equipment, components, controls, motors, wiring, and refrigerant-related components Perform system start-ups, testing, and commissioning to ensure proper operation Conduct preventive maintenance and routine service work Braze refrigerant lines and perform refrigerant-related repairs in accordance with EPA regulations Maintain accurate service records and job documentation Ensure all work is completed according to company standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes Lead and mentor helpers and junior technicians on job sites Assist with training and onboarding new team members Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and system operation Collaborate with other technicians and departments to complete projects efficiently and safely Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and industry best practices Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, job site, and work area Continuously seek opportunities to improve skills, processes, and customer satisfaction Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record EPA 608 Universal Certification (Required) Minimum 2 years of proven HVAC-R installation, service, maintenance, and repair experience Minimum 2 years of mini-split and heat pump installation experience Brazing experience (Required) Strong knowledge of heat pump systems, refrigeration principles, controls, and HVAC-R components Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, installation instructions, and technical manuals Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong leadership capabilities and a willingness to train others High integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement Why Join Our Team?
