Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Installation Technician position include: 2-3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience. EPA Section 608 Certification required (Universal preferred). Ability to braze refrigerant lines, pressure test, evacuate, and properly charge systems. Install residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, ductless mini-splits, boilers, and packaged units. Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment while maintaining a clean, organized job site. Install ductwork, refrigerant lines, gas piping, venting, condensate drains, electrical connections, thermostats, and related accessories. Perform system startups, charging, airflow adjustments, and operational testing to ensure proper function per manufacturer specifications. Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety procedures while completing installation documentation and educating homeowners on system operation and basic maintenance.
Salary:
$25.00-$35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
