National Installer - Commercial Tankless Systems (DOT Class B & 30' Enclosed Trailer) Facilities Resource Group in Comstock Park is an industry leader specializing in commercial tankless water heating and plumbing solutions. We install our high-quality, efficient commercial tankless water heating systems for clients throughout the United States.

$22 - $26 / Hour (Based on Experience) + Heavy Overtime (40 - 70 Hours/Week) + Daily Per Diem Your Safety is Our Top Priority At FRG, we know that a 30-foot enclosed trailer requires precision, patience, and a defensive driving mindset. We aren't looking for corner-cutters or speeders. We are seeking a dedicated professional who takes pride in a flawless MVR, respects DOT compliance, and treats our fleet trucks and equipment with the highest level of care. If you are a methodical driver who commands the highway safely and loves nationwide travel, we want you on our National Install Team. Job Overview You will head out from our Comstock Park shop, safely piloting a company fleet truck and a 30' enclosed trailer to commercial sites across the United States (OTR approximately 3-10 days per trip; 75% travel). Once on-site, you transition from professional driver to skilled installation partner, working alongside our Lead Plumbers to deploy high-efficiency commercial tankless water heating and plumbing solutions.
Key Responsibilities Defensive Hauling :
Safely navigate nationwide routes, master tight spaces, and execute precise backing maneuvers with a 30' enclosed trailer.
DOT Excellence :
Maintain immaculate electronic logbooks and stay fully compliant with all DOT regulations and road safety standards.
On-Site Installation :
Team up with Lead Plumbers to remove old fixtures, cut/fit/join copper piping (1/2" to 2"), insulate lines, and assist with rooftop venting.
Site Safety :
Keep a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace while running tools and managing materials. Requirements for the
Safe Operator Mandatory:
Must be 21+ and legally authorized to work in US without sponsorship;
Licensing :
Must obtain a Class B Chauffeur license (FRG covers 100% of the costs).
Background :
Must pass a background check, drug screen, DOT physical, and a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review for insurability.
Experience :
1-2 years of experience in plumbing, pipefitting, tankless systems, finish carpentry, or commercial reconstruction.
Precision :
Ability to accurately use and interpret a tape measure down to 1/16".
Physical Stamina :
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (75 lbs infrequently). Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, and transitioning between driving and active site labor.
