Job Description

The Mecosta County Road Commission, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is accepting applications for a full-time Blade Truck Operator at our Morley Garage. Applicants must possess a valid Class A CDL with N endorsement. Primary duties include operating trucks and heavy equipment, road grading/blading, general road maintenance, and snow and ice removal. Applicants must be willing to work extended hours as needed.
Starting wage:
$25.10/hour, with a wage increase after one year of service.
Work schedule:
Four 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday) during the summer and five 8-hour days (Monday-Friday) during the winter. (Extended hours may be required as needed, particularly during winter maintenance.) Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and MERS retirement.
