Job Description

Rolls Mechanical is a premier mechanical contractor located in Fenton, Michigan, specializing in commercial, institutional, and industrial HVAC, Refrigeration, Controls, Electrical, and Plumbing. Our team is built on a foundation of quality workmanship, reliability, and teamwork. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Installer/ Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and capable of performing both service and installation work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Install, service, and repair all types of residential HVAC equipment, including: High-efficiency furnaces and air conditioners Heat pumps and ductless mini-split systems Boilers and on-demand (tankless) water heaters Energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) and ventilation systems Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues efficiently and accurately Perform maintenance, safety inspections, and system start-ups Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and company vehicle Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company Communicate clearly with customers and office staff regarding work performed and recommendations Ensure all work meets local code and safety requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC experience Boiler experience required (installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting) Experience with mini-splits, ERVs, high-efficiency systems, and on-demand water heaters preferred EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong problem-solving and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional attitude and pride in workmanship
