Job Summary We are seeking motivated and skilled HVAC technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems across various residential and commercial calls. Your expertise will ensure that installations meet safety standards and project specifications, contributing to the successful completion of commercial and residential projects. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on residential HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Install new HVAC systems and mechanical components following schematics and HVAC design specifications to ensure proper operation and compliance. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to maximize efficiency and longevity, including cleaning, calibrating, and replacing worn parts. Troubleshoot electrical systems using tools like ohmmeters and perform electrical diagnostics to identify faults accurately. Repair plumbing components related to HVAC systems such as condensate drains or refrigerant lines while adhering to safety standards. Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools effectively during service calls. Communicate clearly with customers about system issues, repair procedures, and maintenance tips to enhance customer satisfaction and trust. Requirements Proven 2+ years experience as a service technician with a construction or property maintenance background preferred. Strong knowledge of HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance practices; familiarity with schematics and HVAC design is essential. Mechanical knowledge across various systems including refrigeration, boilers, electrical systems, and building automation systems. Familiarity with ServiceTitan Mobile App a PLUS! Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately for troubleshooting and installation purposes. Experience with equipment troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters or specialized HVAC testing devices. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a driver vehicle safely at all times. EPA certification or equivalent refrigerant handling license required for refrigerant-related work. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Hands-on experience with appliance repair, welding, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, or mechanical systems repair is highly valued. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces or at heights.
