Job Description
HVAC Installer Helper - Experience Required Airtech Mechanical Heating & Cooling is looking for an HVAC Installer Helper with hands-on experience to work alongside our lead installer on residential furnace, A/C, and heat pump replacements throughout Livonia and the surrounding suburbs . This is a helper position, not a lead installer position . You should already know basic HVAC installation and be comfortable working with tools and equipment. We are looking for someone reliable who wants steady, year-round work and an opportunity to grow with the company. What you'll be doing Assist lead installer with furnace, A/C, coil, and heat pump installations Remove and set HVAC equipment Assist with line sets, PVC, drains, ductwork, and sheet metal Load and unload equipment and materials Remove old equipment from jobsites Keep jobsites clean and protect customers' homes Assist with water heater installations as needed What we're looking for HVAC installation experience required Basic knowledge of furnaces, condensers, coils, line sets, and ductwork Reliable and able to report to our Livonia shop by 7:00 AM Reliable transportation Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Able to lift 75 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and basements Professional and respectful when working in customers' homes Willing to learn and take direction from the lead installer What we offer $18-$22/hr depending on experience Full-time, year-round work Overtime available during busy season Opportunity for pay increases as skills and responsibilities grow Airtech Mechanical Heating & Cooling is a licensed Michigan mechanical contractor based in Livonia, Michigan, serving Livonia and surrounding communities.
