3-5+ years HVAC service experience required About the Position A-1 Restoration, Inc. is a growing company seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. We are looking for a journeyman-level technician with at least 3-5 years of HVAC service experience who is confident diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently in the field, accurately diagnosing HVAC issues, communicating professionally with customers, and completing repairs safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair HVAC systems and equipment Service and repair furnaces, air conditioners, rooftop units, and other heating and cooling equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related HVAC issues Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections Properly recover, handle, and charge refrigerants in accordance with EPA requirements Clearly communicate diagnoses and recommended repairs to customers Complete service documentation accurately Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work area Follow company procedures and applicable safety requirements Provide professional and courteous customer service Requirements Journeyman-level HVAC knowledge and experience required Minimum 3-5 years of HVAC service experience EPA Certification required Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience servicing heating and cooling equipment Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical components and controls Ability to work independently in the field Valid driver's license and good driving record Strong communication and customer-service skills Dependable, professional, and punctual Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of HVAC service work Pay & Benefits $28.00
