Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Master or Licensed HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of complex HVAC systems across various commercial and industrial settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and customer service abilities to deliver top-tier service and support. Duties Install, commission, and troubleshoot HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure efficient operation. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults within electrical systems. Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, valves, sensors, and wiring. Collaborate with clients to assess system needs and provide expert recommendations for upgrades or new installations. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports in compliance with safety standards and company policies. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in HVAC system repair and maintenance. Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding building systems integration. Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is preferred. Hands-on experience with HVAC design principles and building automation systems (BAS). Familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, welding, and mechanical systems repair. Valid EPA certification for refrigerants along with relevant licenses or certifications required by local authorities. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate technical information to clients.
