Job Description
Build Something Bigger Than an HVAC Career Bay View Foods is looking for an HVAC/R Technician who enjoys solving problems, learning new systems, and becoming the person everyone depends on when heating, cooling, or refrigeration equipment needs attention. This is not a typical residential service position. Our facilities include food processing plants, industrial refrigeration, commercial buildings, residential properties, and specialty facilities. Every day brings a different challenge and an opportunity to expand your skills. What You'll Work On Our HVAC department supports equipment such as: Residential and commercial heating & air conditioning Mini-split systems Large industrial refrigeration equipment Cooling towers and process cooling systems Air handling and make-up air units Food-safe ventilation systems Boilers and hydronic heating Exhaust and ventilation equipment Control panel cooling systems Company-owned commercial and residential properties No one is expected to know every one of these systems on day one. We are looking for someone who wants to learn them. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Enjoys troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. Takes pride in solving problems instead of replacing parts. Wants to continually expand their knowledge. Works safely and communicates well with teammates. Takes ownership of equipment and follows problems through to completion. Experience in residential, commercial, industrial HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, or process cooling is valuable. You don't need experience with everything—we're much more interested in your ability to learn. Qualifications HVAC/R experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or refrigeration environments. EPA Certification preferred. Valid driver's license. Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings. Strong troubleshooting skills.
