Job Description
Job Summary:
As an HVAC Service Foreman, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will prioritize daily tasks and ensure projects are completed properly and efficiently. A key part of the role involves developing and training apprentices, coordinating job materials, labor, and equipment, and ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining clear communication via phone and email. You will also be responsible for adhering to company safety standards, keeping the job site and company van organized, and ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality. This position requires at least 5 years of experience troubleshooting HVAC/R systems, strong leadership and managerial skills, and the ability to accurately read blueprints, schematics, and manuals. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate service reports and maintenance checklists. A thorough understanding of the refrigeration cycle, knowledge of charging refrigeration systems, and experience with hot water and steam boilers are essential. EPA 608 and CSD 1 certifications are required.Responsibilities:
Communicate project status through use of phone and email Responsible for developing and training apprentices Prioritize and complete general and daily responsibilities Maintain a clean, organized job and well inventoried company van Exhibit excellent customer relations skills Assist with the coordination of job materials, labor and equipment Work with other departments as needed as a team Adhere to company safety standards and proceduresRequirements:
5+ years' experience of troubleshooting HVAC/R systems of all types and sizes Strong leadership and managerial skills are necessary Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, & manuals Attention to detail, while providing accurate service reports and maintenance checklists Capable of proficiently and accurately troubleshooting all commercial/industrial equipment Perform proper maintenance and repairs to commercial/industrial equipment per manufacturer specifications Understand and explain the refrigeration cycle Knowledge of properly charging refrigeration systems Knowledge of hot water/ steam boilers Possess an EPA 608 certification Possess a CSD 1 certification Lockout tagout Equipment and tool experience: Aerial- lift Operation

- Material Handling up to 5000# Telehandler (preferred)
