Residential HVAC Installer

Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and design specifications Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate installation Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC/R (refrigeration) equipment to keep systems operating optimally Conduct plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and ensure proper refrigerant handling including ammonia refrigeration when applicable Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for system modifications or repairs Maintain detailed documentation of installation procedures, service reports, and system configurations Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations Experience Proven experience in construction or HVAC field service roles with a focus on residential installations Service technician experience involving HVAC/R systems or appliance repair is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge including familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration processes, and boiler operation Hands-on experience with equipment repair, welding techniques, property maintenance tasks, and general mechanical troubleshooting Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle preferred Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems or HVAC/R certifications is a plus Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively in troubleshooting electrical components Strong field service background with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Join us in delivering top-tier residential comfort solutions!
