Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems for residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience working with a variety of HVAC/R equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, heat pumps, and building automation systems . Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues using schematics, technical manuals, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Repair or replace HVAC/R components including compressors, fans, valves, thermostats, wiring, and mechanical components . Perform equipment inspections and identify potential issues to maintain system reliability and efficiency. Read and interpret HVAC schematics, drawings, and technical documentation. Assist with HVAC system installations and ensure work meets project specifications and safety standards. Communicate repair requirements and solutions clearly to customers while providing professional service. Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, repair documentation, and equipment performance logs. Operate a company service vehicle and travel to customer locations as required. Qualifications Previous experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting . Experience with construction, building systems, or property maintenance is preferred. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC documentation. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling required. HVAC installation experience is preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company service van. Pay:
$33.06 - $39.81 per hour
