Approximately 2-3 years of HVAC service, repair, troubleshooting, or closely related field experienceHands-on experience diagnosing and repairing residential heating and cooling equipmentAbility to independently run HVAC service callsStrong HVAC troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skillsExperience servicing furnaces and central air conditioning systemsUnderstanding of electrical and mechanical HVAC systemsUnderstanding of refrigerant systems and proper HVAC service proceduresAbility to accurately diagnose HVAC problems and determine appropriate repairsValid driver's licenseStrong problem-solving and technical skillsProfessional verbal communication and customer service skillsAbility to clearly explain HVAC issues and recommended solutions to customersCommitment to integrity, responsibility, quality workmanship, and taking pride in your workAbility to work independently and take ownership of assigned service callsStrong attention to detailAbility to work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, mechanical rooms, and outdoor environmentsAbility to perform the physical duties associated with HVAC service workExperience with heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, light commercial HVAC systems, or boiler service is a plusEPA Section 608 Certification or EPA Universal Certification Brent's Heating & Cooling is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
