Job Description
Commercial Contractor now hiring a Service Technician and Installer to join our successful team of construction professionals! Work is throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs. Hours are steady year-round, full-time, Monday through Friday, and we offer competitive pay and full benefits! We are seeking someone with a strong work ethic who is eager to contribute to our team. This person should excel in a team environment and also be capable of working independently and staying on task. This is a permanent opportunity for the right individual! Job Duties Work alongside other experienced mechanical tradesmen and assist in the completion of commercial HVAC installation work Work alongside other experienced mechanical tradesmen and assist in the completion of commercial HVAC service work Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC equipment Service and repair commercial HVAC equipment Retrofit and install commercial HVAC equipment and duct work Manage tool and supply needs while maintaining clean and organized work environment and company vehicle Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame Report to shop in West Metro as necessary Haul tools and materials where necessary and maintain orderly workspace Operate company vehicle safely and maintain orderly inventory within Requirements Requires mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills Maintain a positive, cooperative and teachable attitude Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter Complies and promotes company Safety Policy Excellent communication and customer service skills Analytical and problem-solving skills Must be able to work independently with and without supervision Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift 50+ pounds 5 - 10 years of relevant field experience preferred Completion of HVAC certificate preferred OSHA 10 certification preferred Compensation Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Holiday pay Paid Time Off Retirement plan Vehicle allowance/Company vehicle Phone allowance Overtime opportunity Advancement opportunity
