Duties Lead and coordinate HVAC system installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to schematics, design specifications, and safety protocols Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance on technical tasks such as equipment troubleshooting, system repair, and maintenance procedures Interpret technical drawings, schematics, HVAC design plans, and electrical diagrams to facilitate accurate installations and repairs Perform complex HVAC system diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters and electrical testers to identify issues with electrical systems or refrigeration components Conduct service calls for HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and building automation controls Troubleshoot mechanical systems repair problems efficiently while maintaining high safety standards Ensure all work complies with EPA regulations related to refrigerants and environmental standards Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, inspections, repairs, and system upgrades for quality assurance Skills Extensive construction experience with HVAC system installation and property maintenance projects Proven service technician experience with HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, air conditioning, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration Strong understanding of schematics, mechanical systems repair, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems Skilled in plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and mechanical knowledge of various equipment components Proficient in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, ohmmeters, and specialized diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret HVAC design plans effectively Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; experience with electrical systems diagnostics is preferred Experience operating a van or truck for field service work; familiarity with equipment repair and maintenance procedures Knowledge of HVAC system maintenance practices including troubleshooting mechanical failures and performing routine inspections Mechanical mechanic experience is advantageous for diagnosing complex system issues efficiently Join us as a Lead HVAC Installer if you're eager to lead impactful projects while advancing your career in a vibrant environment dedicated to excellence!
