Countryside Refrigeration and Heating is a family owned and operated company in North Mankato, MN since 1961. We are looking for a qualified service technician to join our dedicated team. We are searching for a technician that can provide high quality customer service and deliver efficient HVAC repair. We work with a passionate team that strives to make long lasting relationships with our customers. As a service technician you will service and troubleshoot multiple brands of equipment to help provide our customers with informed buying decisions. We the owners of Countryside we strive to keep our employees happy. We enjoy company outings and getting to know our employees each and every day. Job duties include (but not limited to):

• Perform regular preventative maintenance on residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
• Properly fill out invoices for customer billing and collect payment for invoices.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and stocked truck.
• Educate customers in choosing maintenance plans and the best financial options.
• Propose equipment and upgrades to customers HVAC equipment.
• Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
• Participate in training meetings.

Desired Qualities:

• Excellent customer service.
• Self motivated & good work ethic.
• Ability to pass NATE certification test.
• EPA certifications.
• 1 or 2 year diploma from a HVAC program.
• Clean driving record.
• After hours/on-call service availability.
• 2 years experience of maintenance/troubleshooting/repair of HVAC systems.
