Duties Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Conduct maintenance on mechanical systems and perform equipment troubleshooting to ensure reliable operation. Repair plumbing components related to HVAC systems and handle appliance repairs as needed. Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction during field service visits. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC technician with construction experience preferred. Strong background in HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance with service technician experience. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration systems, and plumbing. Mechanical knowledge of mechanical systems repair including boilers and building automation systems. Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues using specialized tools such as ohmmeters and refrigerant gauges. Experience working with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems in various settings. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is advantageous. Mechanical or mechanic experience combined with field service expertise is highly desirable.
