Your Responsibilities Oversee the full lifecycle of HVAC service, repair, and replacement projects. Resolve complex issues within heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems to restore optimal performance. Provide expert HVAC services across residential, manufactured housing, apartment, and light commercial environments. Execute maintenance tasks for apartment communities, including unit turns, service calls, preventative care, and emergency fixes. Support the team by providing hands-on technical guidance and training to installers and technicians. Evaluate project requirements by reviewing scopes, measuring sites, and determining necessary materials. Guarantee that all installations and repairs strictly follow manufacturer guidelines and relevant building codes. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to capture precise system readings. Confirm that all completed projects meet high standards for safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. Assist with the installation of household appliances as the need arises. Maintain constant communication with management regarding project status, potential delays, and resource requirements. Foster a culture of safety and excellence by mentoring junior staff members. Ensure a positive customer experience while performing work in occupied residential and apartment settings. Finalize all necessary service paperwork before concluding each shift. Care for company-provided tools, vehicles, and inventory. Notify management immediately regarding any safety hazards or site-specific challenges. Engage in required overtime and participate in the on-call rotation schedule. Qualifications At least 2 years of professional experience in HVAC installation. At least 3 years of professional experience in HVAC service. Prior experience in a lead or senior technician capacity is highly valued. Background in servicing residential, apartment, manufactured home, or light commercial systems is preferred. Current EPA 608 Certification is mandatory. Comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic instrumentation. Proven ability to independently diagnose and fix complicated system malfunctions. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and customer service capabilities. Completion of HVAC trade school or equivalent technical training is a plus. A valid driver's license with a clean driving history. Possession of a medical certification card if required by the role. Availability to work overtime and join the on-call rotation.
