SUMMARY The Maintenance Mechanic in the HVAC Shop performs a variety of duties involving the maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Will be assigned a variety of functions (HVAC Maintenance & Repair).
- Will perform a variety of functions.
- Must have extensive knowledge of industrial heating and cooling systems, boilers and pumps .
- Must have electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
- Installation of a variety of equipment.
- Repair of a variety of equipment.
- Maintenance of a variety of equipment.
- Ensure quality work performance.
- Ensure Project initiatives.
- Employees are required to drive company vehicles on a Federal Installation.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of four years' related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training.
- Requires LP Gas certification within 6 months of hire.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license.
