- Full-time United Heating Cooling & Plumbing, located in Grandview MO, is a family owned and operated company that provides HVAC service and equipment for residential and commercial customers.
Responsibilities:
Installation:
Installing HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, and ventilation systems, according to design specifications.Ductwork:
Fabricating and installing ducts to distribute heated or cooled air throughout the building.Ventilation:
Ensuring proper ventilation to maintain indoor air quality and meet building codes.Insulation:
Installing insulation to optimize energy efficiency and reduce heat loss or gain.Controls:
Setting up control systems to regulate temperature and airflow.Testing and Balancing:
Conducting tests and balancing HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently and meet design requirements.Compliance:
Ensuring that all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, department standards and environmental standardsQualifications:
No experience necessary for apprentices Strong interpersonal communication skills Able to work both independently and as part of a team Current MO or KS driver's license and good driving record Ability to safely lift 100+ lbs. Able to tolerate extreme temperatures for extended periods of time Ability to work at height Able to work overtime or weekend hours, if needed Able to continually push, pull, lift, grasp, hold, carry, reach, reach above the shoulders, stoop, bend at the waist, bend at the knee, kneel, bend side to side, crouch, stand on step stools or small ladders and balance. Work safely following company policies Must have reliable transportation Ability to pass drug screen, physical exam, and background check.We are proud to offer:
