Role:

We are seeking a Senior Controls Technician to support installation, commissioning, and service of advanced Building Automation Systems (BAS). This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who thrives in complex environments and enjoys troubleshooting integrated systems across multiple building platforms. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Install, commission, and service BAS/DDC systems for commercial and institutional facilities Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across HVAC controls, field devices, and network communications Perform system startups, point-to-point checkout, and functional testing Work with integrated systems including HVAC, lighting, power monitoring, and life safety systems Support system upgrades, retrofits, and optimization of existing building systems Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery Provide technical support and training to end users and facility teams Maintain accurate documentation, service reports, and as-built updates ________________________________________ Qualifications 5+ years of experience with Building Automation / HVAC Controls systems Strong troubleshooting and commissioning experience in the field Experience with BAS platforms such as Niagara, Schneider (EcoStruxure), Johnson Controls (Metasys), Siemens (Desigo/Apogee), Honeywell, Distech, Delta Controls, Trane, Carrier i-Vu, or similar Knowledge of protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings Strong understanding of HVAC systems and sequences of operation Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently A bit about us:
