Sheet Metal Foremen

  • 43/Hour | Traveler Per Diem | Overtime We're hiring experienced Sheet Metal Foremen to lead HVAC ductwork installation crews on a project in Jackson, Mississippi . Local and traveling candidates are welcome. Pay & Schedule Local foremen: $33
  • 41/hour based on experience Traveling foremen: $33
  • 43/hour based on experience
Schedule:
Four 10-hour days and two 8-hour days—56 hours per week Overtime and weekend work Traveler Per Diem $115/day for eligible travelers. Work at least 40 hours in the week to receive all seven days of per diem— $805/week . If you work fewer than 40 hours, per diem is paid only for the days worked. Responsibilities Lead and direct sheet metal mechanics and helpers. Plan daily work, assign tasks, and keep installation on schedule. Read plans and shop drawings and resolve field issues with the general contractor and superintendent. Track manpower, materials, and progress; submit daily reports. Coordinate material needs and deliveries with the project team. Conduct toolbox talks and enforce site safety procedures. Inspect completed work to ensure installations meet specifications and applicable codes. Requirements 5+ years of sheet metal experience Prior foreman or lead experience required OSHA 30 required Strong blueprint reading, layout, and installation skills Ability to manage a crew and communicate clearly with the contractor Own hand tools
Required PPE:
