Job Description
Residential Construction Lead (Sheetrock / HVAC Duct)Full-Time | Biloxi, MS (Keesler Air Force Base)
Essential ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise residential remodeling crews performing sheetrock installation, finishing, repairs, and HVAC duct installation.
Read blueprints, work orders, and project specifications to ensure quality workmanship.
Coordinate daily jobsite activities, assign tasks, and monitor crew productivity.
Train and mentor construction helpers in proper installation techniques and safe work practices.
Measure, cut, install, and repair sheetrock, framing components, and HVAC duct systems.
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites while enforcing OSHA and company safety policies.
Coordinate material, tool, and equipment needs to minimize downtime.
Communicate project progress, material needs, and jobsite concerns with management.
Assist with all phases of residential remodeling as needed to ensure project completion.
Qualifications3+ years of residential construction experience required.
Demonstrated experience leading crews performing sheetrock and HVAC duct installation.
Ability to read blueprints and accurately measure, cut, and install materials.
Proficient with construction hand tools and power tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work on ladders.
Dependable attendance and commitment to quality workmanship.
