Reporting to the lead technician or supervisor, you will apply core skills in mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration, and customer service to troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and complete service calls efficiently. Your premium and relevant skills in schematics, HVAC design and field service will support high-quality installations and repairs for commercial and industrial projects, contributing to uninterrupted comfort and system reliability. Responsibilities Inspect and diagnose HVAC systems to identify malfunctions and performance issues using electrical diagnostics and appropriate testing tools. Repair and replace components such as compressors, motors, coils, valves, and refrigerant lines; perform equipment troubleshooting and ensure optimal system operation. Install and commission HVAC equipment, including ductwork, controls, and associated systems, while observing safety and EPA regulations. Conduct preventative maintenance, calibrate controls, and perform seasonal service to extend equipment life and reduce energy consumption. Provide excellent customer service, explain findings and recommendations, and document service actions for records and future reference. Qualifications Proven HVAC system repair and installation skills, including electrical diagnostics and equipment troubleshooting Proficiency in refrigeration, air conditioning, and mechanical systems maintenance; hands-on use of hand tools and testing equipment EPA refrigerant certification; strong customer service and communication abilities Service technician experience with fieldwork, plus basic plumbing and schematics understanding Valid driver's license for van-based field service; safety-conscious, with problem-solving and time-management skills
