You will run your own service calls, explain problems and options clearly to homeowners, and leave every home comfortable and every job documented correctly.

Full-time, non-exempt, on-call rotation Company vehicle: Provided Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential gas furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, air handlers, and thermostats and controls. Perform seasonal tune-ups and maintenance-agreement visits using the company checklist, and record readings (static pressure, temperature split, superheat/subcooling, amp draws). Explain findings in plain language, present repair and replacement options with pricing, and get customer approval before starting work. Identify sales opportunities such as failing equipment, air quality, and maintenance plans, and pass leads to the comfort advisor or sales team. Complete all invoices, notes, and photos in the field service software on every job, on the same day. Handle refrigerant responsibly and in compliance with EPA regulations, including recovery, leak checks, and logging. Maintain your truck, tools, and parts inventory, and restock from the shop as needed. Follow safety procedures, protect customers' homes (shoe covers, drop cloths), and leave the work area clean. Take part in the after-hours and weekend on-call rotation during peak seasons. Support and mentor newer technicians and helpers when asked. Qualifications Required 2+ years of residential HVAC service and repair experience EPA Section 608 certification (Universal or Type II at minimum) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen Working knowledge of gas heat, split-system A/C, and heat pump diagnostics, including electrical troubleshooting Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for dispatch, invoicing, and photos Reliable, punctual, and professional with customers Preferred State HVAC license or NATE certification Experience with Service Titan or similar field service software Familiarity with Carrier, Trane, Lennox, or Goodman equipment Experience with ductless mini-splits or zoning systems Bilingual (English/Spanish) Working Conditions Work is performed in customers' homes, including attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and basements, in hot, cold, and confined conditions. Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and up to 75 lbs with a partner or equipment. Frequent climbing, kneeling, bending, and working at heights on ladders. Schedule is generally Monday through Friday with seasonal overtime and a rotating on-call schedule.

Compensation and Benefits Pay:
