Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Commercial HVAC Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, sheet metal ductwork, and a wide range of commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of building systems, enhance energy efficiency, and provide reliable climate control solutions for our clients. QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of all forms of sheet metal ductwork, including field altering duct Hard and soft copper refrigerant piping Blueprint knowledge - reading and layout Control wiring Strong attention to detail and quality Able to follow installation instructions Willingness to expand and grow Ability to pass a drug screening Ability to pass a background check A valid driver's license and a clean driving record EPA Licensed Appropriate Journeyman experience is required
TYPICAL DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Inspect completed processing systems to determine conformance to specifications Train new workers in use of equipment and tools Supervise and coordinate activities as assigned craft workers Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed Analyze and resolve work problems Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings Lift and carry objects of varying weights Perform work from scaffolding, ladders or other structures Perform work overhead, beneath structure, and from various other positions as required by working conditions Detect, recognize and respond to dangerous conditions or situations
ABOUT IVEY MECHANICAL
In 1947 Mr. Kermit Ivey founded Ivey Mechanical in Kosciusko, Mississippi. At the time, his small repair shop focused on residential and small commercial construction. The company continued on a steady growth pattern with annual sales that approached a half-million dollars by 1958. Today the company operates under the leadership of Larry Terrell and Denny Terrell and still does so under the name of Ivey Mechanical Company, LLC. We have 11 locations throughout the Southeast. Our company has grown and expanded but we still hold true to our values of integrity, loyalty, experience, quality, reliability, and safety. Pay:
$25.00 - $38.00 per hour
