Short JD Location:

Durham, NC | Onsite | Day Shift We are seeking a Facilities Technician 2 to support facility operations through hands-on HVAC, mechanical, building maintenance, and troubleshooting .

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and perform PM/repairs on AHUs, RTUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers, pumps, and exhaust fans . Monitor and troubleshoot BAS/Siemens Desigo CC , alarms, setpoints, and basic controls. Perform drywall repair, painting, lighting, hardware, and general building maintenance . Conduct OSHA/life-safety inspections and support hazardous waste activities. Document PMs and work orders in CMMS and follow GxP/SOP requirements . Support contractors/vendors and facility projects as needed.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of hands-on HVAC/facilities maintenance experience . EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required . HAZWOPER/hazardous waste experience preferred. Experience with BAS, CMMS, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and hand tools preferred. Ability to lift up to 50-80 lbs , work on ladders/roofs, and participate in an on-call rotation .

Pay:

$28.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
