About the Role The Maintenance Technician-HVAC is an entry-level position that assists and works under the supervision of an HVAC Maintenance Mechanic and/or supervisor. You'll assist with the installation, construction, troubleshooting, repair, renovation, and maintenance of HVAC equipment in City facilities. What You'll Do Assist with installation and maintenance of HVAC equipment. Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system issues. Perform routine maintenance and repairs under supervision. Assist with HVAC renovations and construction projects. Use HVAC hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Work with HVAC mechanical equipment and related building systems. Identify and report equipment problems and maintenance needs. Read and interpret blueprints and related technical information. Complete work orders using a computer or electronic device. Follow applicable local and state building codes and industry standards. Follow OSHA policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements. Assist with building maintenance activities as assigned. Work cooperatively with other skilled trades and maintenance personnel. This Is Hands-On Work This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being active and working with their hands.

"OR" No High School Diploma/GED with 5-7 years of HVAC experience , such as: Installation, Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and repair experience. "OR" an Associate's Degree with 1 year of HVAC experience , such as: Installation, Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and repair experience. Valid driver's license.
